It’s been a very long time. I mean we’ll have our occasional “hey, how are you?” texts here & there but never have we stopped to talk about our past. I don’t know why i stop to think about you sometimes. A part of me still cares and wonders what it would have been like if maybe I did live in the same town as you, would we still be together? Even though you have moved on and been with her for a while now, people always say “he doesn’t look happy the way he was with you..” and I know it shouldn’t, but it makes me happy. Because ever since you broke my heart, it’s like deja vu. Never stops. Heartbreak after heartbreak, and I just wish that I could be HAPPY. Happy meaning EVERYTHING is okay, that’s hard to say with everything going on in my life, but I just want to have a REAL smile every now & then, I want to feel the way you made me feel back in ‘08.
